Work Assistance

We are unique in that members who become incapacitated through illness or accident, and who are unable to carry on their Lawn Mowing Business, are given the necessary assistance by fellow members. Their work is completed by members (who are allocated work by the Association) at normal frequency and standard until the incapacitated member can resume work.

This ensures that the business of an incapacitated member is intact and still operating when the member is able to resume work.

Eligibility for work assistance is dependent on members attending a minimum of one in every three consecutive meetings at any of the venues.

Membership

To join, you must be an independent, full time, self-employed Lawn Mowing Contractor. Membership is conditional also on holding a current Public Liability Insurance Policy.

Where two or more persons work in partnership, ALL MUST APPLY for membership separately.

A membership application must be completed and submitted for approval at one of our monthly meetings, where the prospective member will be interviewed and given an understanding of the benefits and responsibilities of membership.
